Until it isn’t.
A line you know by heart.
A scene you didn’t forget.
A memory that finds you before you reach for it.
Something in the foam takes shape —
not quite clear, not quite random…
Just enough.
And suddenly —
It’s not just a drink.
A fun and clever coffee table book built around espresso martini foam faces and the weirdly familiar things they remind us of — movies, music, TV, mythology, faith, Americana, and everyday human nature. Each photo is paired with a short caption designed to make you laugh, smirk, recognize something instantly, or feel a little nostalgic. A book to leave out on the table, flip through with friends over drinks, and keep picking back up because every page reminds you of something different.

The Beansters are stepping off the page.
Original visual vignettes bring the faces, personalities and
culture of EspressoGoGo to life.
Edward and Christine Hoyt have been an amazing team for more than three decades — raising a family, building businesses, collecting furbabies, splitting their time between Bridgehampton, New York and Tequesta, Florida, and occasionally disappearing down the highway in their beloved Spaceship “The Beast.”
One night, over espresso martinis, Ed looked down at the foam and said:
“These look like people.”
That was his first mistake.
Because Chris cannot leave anything alone.
One face became another. Then another. Soon there were names. Personalities. Categories. Captions. Photo shoots. And eventually, somehow, an entire book.
Together, they drank their way through nearly every martini photographed in EspressoGoGo — with one notable exception — with friends and family safely stationed on both sides of the bar.
The result is part art project, part Rorschach test, and part evidence of what can happen when two people who have spent 30+ years making each other laugh are left unsupervised with espresso martinis and a camera.
Their cast outside the book includes daughters Rachel and Paige; furbabies Zelda, Jaycee, Bubbles and Rocket; and a rotating collection of family and friends who have learned that no cocktail may be consumed until Christine has photographed the foam.
80 faces. Three coffee beans.
One beautifully unexpected coffee-table book.
Take the Beansters home.
